Our team
About Corrie
Corrie’s teaching style is fluid, inspired by degree level Osteopathy and Psychology studies to create a biomechanical yet creative approach, inspired by the freedom of her dance background. (Something we both have in common there!)
Corrie guides her students to practice from a place of mindful engagement, rather than creating more strain, tension and ego. For many people, loving their bodies feels like an epic task, Corrie facilitate a space that fosters acceptance as a first step, love might come later. (We are both) passionately anti-diet culture and practice the HAES approach (health at every size).
Being qualified in many areas allows Corrie to cater for her clients’ complex needs with a varied range of knowledge and experience. She lives what she teaches and has a regular yoga and pilates practice, as well as rock climbing and running obstacle courses, weight lifting, swimming and cycling. She sees activism as a big part of her role as a teacher and there are some key areas in which she is currently pushing her own learning, such as anti-racism, fatphobia, anti-diet culture, abelism, health care inequalities, feminism and environmentalism.
Corrie is a dear friend and mentor to me and we can/will learn so much form being in her presence. I’m honoured that she will be joining the retreat in September. Above all else she is a right laugh and we’ll all just have a fabulous time together.
About Annie (our chef!)
Annie McKenzie is an actor, writer, director, producer… all round artist extraordinaire!
She also happened to appear on MasterChef in 2016 and came sixth. Wild.
Since then, Annie has worked in various kitchens, hosted supper clubs, worked as a private chef, launched an immersive dining company called Scripts for Supper and was head chef of Shotgun Carousel’s ‘Red Palace’ at The Vaults in 2019 before most recently launching a plant based comfort food delivery service in London called Annie’s Kitchen.
Guided by an international palate thanks her French heritage, Annie’s food has a modern European feel with the comfort of stuff your mum (or dad, or primary caregiver) used to make.
Some mates have said things like “humble”, “clever” and “joyous”, while people like Jay Rayner have said her food is, “Rich. It’s serious. It’s delicious” and Marcus Waring noted, “You’ve got a serious cook on your hands”.
Annie is really excited to be coming on board and working with Alice and Corrie to deliver a short week of yummy food, yummy yoga and spending time in your even yummier company!
About Jo and The Sound Bath Experience
Jo is a qualified sound practitioner having studying under the watchful eye and ear of sound artist and gong master, Leo Consendai. Her journey into sound as a healing modality started in 2021 during her own mental health breakdown. “I found that a sound bath was the only thing that I could do for myself that managed to quieten down my mind long enough for me to be able to listen to different sounds before noticing the chattering of my own brain had quietened down”. Her own experience from that first sound bath led her to want to learn more about how sound can heal and how playing these various percussive instruments can be used to create a soundscape that could be shared to others who hadn’t yet experienced a sound bath.
No two sound baths are the same, they’re created with love and kindness around moon phases, seasons or themes and are combined with lights and scents that help transport you through your own unique journey.
About Darcy and Holistic Facials
Darcy is a holistic facial therapist who loves combining traditional beauty rituals such as gua sha, acupressure and facial cupping with modern massage techniques and effective natural products to nourish the skin and promote overall wellbeing.

Testimonials
I met Alice a couple of years ago and after my first class with her I was a committed fan. She is an incredible teacher – mindful, creative, intuitive and inspiring. The retreat we’ve just returned from at the beautiful Fair Oak Farm was no different. She created the most wonderful energy both in and out of the yoga studio and a relaxed, warm atmosphere during our stay. Fair Oak Farm was the perfect place to retreat to reset, recharge, refuel and spend some juicy time practicing and exploring.
It was expertly organised, with delicious food, fantastic yoga, fabulous people, and all in the most beautiful place. Couldn’t recommend more!
– Peta Cornish
I recently went on a yoga retreat led by Alice. She has a really lovely teaching style and also offers lots of modifications and variations so you can take a step back or go further into a pose, if you wish. My friend who is not very experienced in yoga joined me on the retreat – Alice was able to offer her alternatives if necessary, without making her feel singled out or awkward. This was particularly impressive as there were 20 or more students in the classes.
So if you have a chance to attend a class, whether online or live, I can highly recommend that you do so.
– Annette Henn
I love Alice’s style of yoga and her ability to hone in on the transitions between postures. Her creative and inspiring flows are initially what led me to book onto Alice’s Sussex retreat. And it didn’t disappoint! There were daily creative Vinyasa and Yin practices that left me feeling both energised and restored. The food, location and people were all incredible and Alice’s warming personality made me feel instantly settled. If you are looking for a relaxing retreat to switch off and meet some great people I highly recommend!
