Welcome to Day 4 of my summertime yoga series Strength to Lengthen. Today’s flow is a super helpful and creative sequence to get you well acquainted with the parts of the body needed to perform wide splits. There’s a lot more to it than simply spreading the legs… We will explore some really fun postures that without necessarily realising it play a huge role in this pose. It’s really wonderful to break down postures and find that quite often they’re composed of multiple postures wrapped into one ‘shape’.
